Wild harvested Inonotus obliquus (also known as “clinker polypore,” “cinder conk,” and “birch canker polypore”) is a sterile conk parasitic on birch and other trees. It looks like burnt charcoal, is dark (due to plentiful melanin), dense/woody and has an earthy, and slightly bitter taste. It has a wide range of traditional and medicinal applications. Studies suggest that chaga mushrooms have several health-promoting, anti-cancer and anti-inflammatory properties.
We offer whole, granules and powder chaga mushrooms in 1-lb bags or bulk cases. We also offer chaga mushrooms as part of our organic mixed mushroom tea blend
